Fauvism

This art style is named from the French word 'fauve' meaning 'wild animals.' These artists usually had very simple designs and bold colors. They often use complementary colors, which are opposite on the color wheel. They were inspired by the colors of the artists Paul Gauguin and Vincent van Gogh.
